Profile

Mrs. Anjana George completed her B.Pharm from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cheruvandoor and M.Pharm in specialization of Pharmacology from University College of Pharmacy, Cheruvandoor under the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

She started her teaching career as Assistant  Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy, Thiruvalla in 2019. She is experienced in handling various Pharmacology related subjects for the B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Pharm. D courses. She is expertise in animal handling, performing different kinds of in vitro and in vivo studies and handling of various sophisticated instruments. Her interested areas in research are Neuropharmacology, Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Respiratory and Gastrointestinal disorders. She guidedone B. Pharm research project and co-guided ten M. Pharm and five Pharm. D research projects. She also served as NAAC convenor, Project  coordinator and as an active member of various institutional committees.

Presently she is working as Assistant Professor in Caritas College of Pharmacy, Kottayam from December 2024. She has a total experience of 5.5 years till date.

She has participated as delegate in many conferences, workshops, and seminars in the National and International level. She has also published six review articles in International journal and orally presented two research papers in National  seminar and conferences.
