Profile:
Prof. Cinu Thomas A, completed B Pharm from Bangalore University, M. Pharm from Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and PhD in Pharmaceutical chemistry from Manipal University, Karnataka. She also bagged MBA in Pharma Management from ICFAI University Sikkim and Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. She started her career as Vice principal in AM College of Pharmacy Karunagappally and Caritas college of Pharmacy, Kottayam. In 2004 she joined as a faculty member in Dept of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University later known as Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies- CPAS. From October 2020 onwards she is serving as Professor and Vice Principal of Caritas College of Pharmacy, Kottayam.
Dr Cinu is an excellent academician, researcher and expert in Molecular modeling using drug design software (Schrodeiger, Sybyl, V Life etc.), 3D QSAR techniques like Comfa, Comsia, Modern synthetic techniques, Spectral Analysis and Interpretation (Proton NMR, 13C NMR, GCMS, LCMS, FTIR, etc), Chromatographic techniques, Analytical method developments of drug molecules, Isolation and purification of molecules of natural origin, Biological Screening Techniques (Alamar blue assay, MTT assay, MGIT assay, anti- bacterial screening, anti -TB screening, cell culture etc), Biostatistics, and Patent drafting,
